Arbat courtyard "Aif-Tbilisi"
The “Arguments and Facts - Tbilisi” (“Аргументы и факты -Тбилиси”) has launched a new literary project. The first guest of “AIF-Tbilisi Arbat courtyard” was the famous Russian-language writer Mikhail ANANOV.
I am glad that I have the honor to open a new column “Arbat courtyard”. I was lucky enough to walk along this street more than once while in Moscow. They say that all roads lead to Rome, and in Moscow all roads lead to Arbat. We can talk about it endlessly. About the Arbat itself, about its famous buildings, each with its own interesting and rich history. About how many fun and exciting things you can find to see, that sometimes you want to wander around it for hours, especially since its length is 1250 meters. . And if we count the front and back roads, then you yourself understand how many there are... However, I cannot begin my story about Arabat without mentioning a very important person - the legendary bard of the 1960s Bulat Okudzhava. I can safely say that these are inseparable concepts. Many poets and bards have sung about this street, which has become a kind of symbol, but the path of Bulat Shalvovich is exemplary.
