Italian Innovation and Research Day 2024
Italian Innovation and Research Day, dedicated to the anniversary of the birth of the Italian scientist and Nobel Prize winner Rita Levi-Montalcini.
Italian Innovation and Research Day is celebrated in the Technopark of the Georgian Innovation and Technology Agency (GITA), which was dedicated to the deepening of cooperation between Italy and Georgia in the scientific and technological fields. The event, which was attended by representatives of various institutions, academic and entrepreneurial circles, was opened by Italian Ambassador Massimiliano D'Antuono and Chairman of Innovation and Technology Agency Avtandil Kasradze. After the presentations of the representative of CERN, Tiziano Camporesi, the honorary professor of Boston University and Georgia Technical University, and Irina Tsagareishvili, the director of Axel - Georgian Business Angel Network, awarded two Georgian innovators. They won the competition "STEM Study Visits to Italy" held in order to strengthen the cooperation between Georgia and Italy.
