Italian Design Day
The Italian Design Day was celebrated with great success in Tbilisi. The event, which was organized by the Embassy of Italy in Georgia and the Italian Trade Agency (ITA), included two digital exhibitions, a lecture by Giovanni Podestà, the leading architect of Studio Fuksas, Marangoni Institute Prof. Carlos Rodriguez and Mariam Bochorishvili, founder of Tbilisi Architectural Week (TAW) and awarding young Georgian designers who won the competition announced by the Marangoni Institute in cooperation with the Embassy of Italy.
The event was opened by the Italian Ambassador to Georgia, Massimiliano D'Antuono, and the head of the Tbilisi Center for Architecture, Design and Creative Industry, as well as the editor of the Georgian edition of one of the most prestigious Italian magazines in the field of architecture and design, Domus, Lena Kiladze.
