The reporting session of the National Olympic Committee of Georgia was held at the hotel "Pullman Tbilisi Axis Towers".
Seok's 2023 activity report was presented by NOC's president Leri Khabelov. He noted that in 2023, significant victories have been won in international competitions in judo, weightlifting, wrestling, fencing, boxing, trampoline jumping, figure skating and many other sports. We won more than 50 medals in European and world championships in Olympic sports and disciplines alone.
From this year's sports results, the president of the NOC particularly singled out the excellent performance of Georgian judoists at the World Championship, as well as at the third European Games, and the recognition of two-time world champion Tato Grigalashvili as the best judoka in Europe and the world; Lasha Talakhadze's record seventh European and World Champion titles and his almost ten-year leadership in world weightlifting.
