The Chairperson of the Organising Committee of the European Youth Olympic Winter Festival, Mamuka Khabareli and Emzar Zenaishvili the Secretary-General of the Georgian National Olympic Committee, held a meeting with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Vesselin Valkanov.

During the meeting representatives of the organising committee presented the Ambassador with information regarding the work conducted and future plans within the framework of the Festival. The discussion also touched upon the issue of cooperation across winter sports.

Note that recently within the framework of the working visit of European Youth Olympics Festival's coordination commission, Georgia hosted: the Sports Director - Peter Brüll, the Head of the Commission - Líney Halldórsdóttir,  the Chairperson of the Commission - Florin Misca, members of the Coordination Commission - Merle Kaljurand, Roger Schnegg. The guests stopped by sporting venues in Tbilisi, Batumi, and Bakuriani, where they attended the introductory ceremony of the Anthem and the Mascot of the Festival.
