Georgia will have a new delegate to UEFA
Mamuka Kvaratskhelia has been working as a media officer at UEFA for 23 years. He is one of those who have been working for decades to create an attractive image of soccer and raise the level of training for young footballers to reach the international level. Last year he traveled to dozens of villages and hamlets across the country, and this year he plans to break the record. Mamuka was also a media officer at the UEFA U-21 European Youth Championship, which was held in Georgia and won by England. Speaking to GeorgiaPress, Kvaratskhelia said he was going to become a UEFA delegate, "It is the main official during the match. The delegate controls everything during the game. When I was a media officer, I controlled all media related issues. At the moment there are 6 highly professional delegates from the Georgian Football Federation". Let us remind you that this year FFG President Levan Kobiashvili was elected to the UEFA Executive Committee.
