Participants of the World Youth Festival, held in March in Sochi, and not only them, but also everyone under 35 years old, can apply for participation in numerous youth forums to be held in different cities of Russia during the year, Sputnik Georgia reported.

According to the agency, young people from Georgia have started registering on the updated platform Rosmolodezh.Events.

The press center of Rosmolodezh told Sputnik Georgia that the opening of the forums season of the Rosmolodezh.Events platform took place in the Moscow House of Youth at the Russia exhibition. The event was held in offline and online formats in 27 regions of Russia under the unified slogan “Let's go to the forums - 2024”.  The lineup of forums was represented by 43 events on various topics in 27 regions of the Russian Federation.  The organizers note that the widest range of directions will give everyone an opportunity to find interesting topics.

First Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Sergei Kirienko noted the features of the new season: the transition of the forums to a year-round format of youth educational centers across the country and the expansion of the category of participants.

“Also, our international friends from the World Youth Festival - guests from 190 countries - will have the opportunity to participate in youth forums across the country and study in 16 youth year-round educational centers,” said Sergey Kiriyenko.

Participants can register for any forum, but it is important that they have experience of the main subject.

Nikoloz, a member of the Georgian delegation attending the World Youth Festival, from the E. Primakov Georgian-Russian Center, said: “This is indeed great news, which carries a huge potential for strengthening cultural ties and developing international cooperation at the youth level. Expansion of opportunities for participation of international delegations, including delegations from Georgia, in youth forums and educational centers opens new perspectives for deepening mutual understanding and interaction between our cultures and peoples”.

Alexandra, 27, from Tbilisi, also registered for the forum. “I have a positive attitude to this initiative, as it gives young people from different countries an opportunity to get acquainted with each other and it broadens their horizons. It is also a good opportunity to exchange information, which is important in today's world. If you do not know what is going on in the world, you will not be able to look at events globally. Young people, who are attached to gadgets, will be able to loosen up, get new knowledge, practice communication and other things", - said the girl.

Karine from Samtskhe-Javakheti had the opportunity to participate in the regional program in Kaliningrad after the festival in Sochi.

“I will take part in the forums with great pleasure. I love my homeland and I want to familiarize peers from different countries with Georgian culture, traditions and customs,” she said.

According to the head of Rosmolodezhya Ksenia Razuvaeva, “the forums become an important step in the career trajectory of participants, the event sites are a place of attraction for companies, our partners and young professionals. On the basis of all our forums a Career Center is launched, which will non-stop delivery of vacancies and selection of guys at the forums”.

“Just forums and year-round youth educational centers open opportunities for additional training, retraining and support for the most talented young people now and in a year-round format ”, - said the head of the Directorate of forums Rosmolodezh Ekaterina Antonova.
