Georgia will become the epicenter of international paragliding
From August 29 to September 3, Georgia will become the epicenter of international paragliding. The Gudauri ski resort will host the International Paragliding Championship. This FAI Category 2 international competition will bring together pilots from around the world for thrilling flights in the heart of the Greater Caucasus.
Competitors will enjoy technical routes over majestic peaks, powerful mountain thermals, and incredible views of the Aragvi Valley. Spectators will enjoy the most unforgettable experience of this breathtaking spectacle.
The competition will begin on a mountainside 2,700 meters above sea level. Participants will fly an average of 50 kilometers.
The organizer of the Caucasus Open Series Edition 2026 Paragliding Championship is Yan Minasyan, a representative of ADREALINE and the winner of the 2024 championship.
The championship is supported by the Georgian Paragliding Federation, extreme tour organizer Adrenaline, the Adrenaline sportswear store, and the Drunk Cherry restaurant.
Caucasus Open Series Edition 2026 is the third championship held in Georgia and one of the largest.
