Students of the Russian school received gifts from the Georgian Football Federation
A festive concert was held at Secondary School No. 1 in the village of Opreti in Marneuli Municipality. Children greeted guests from Tbilisi with Russian and Georgian songs.
The smallest Russian school in Georgia has six students, including children from nearby villages. The school rarely receives visitors. It is located in a high-mountain village near the border with Armenia, where winter lasts almost half the year.
The school's students received gifts from the Georgian Football Federation. Mamuka Kvaratskhelia, head of the Open Fun Football Schools program and head of the Georgian Football Federation's stadium department, presented all the students with jerseys and balls. The teachers also received gifts and certificates for their Russian language development.
School Principal Arkady Manucharyan thanked the FFU leadership and Mamuka Kvaratskhelia for their attention to the school and the joy they brought the children.
