Georgian public organizations, including the Council for the Protection of the Rights of National Minorities, are urging Russian-speaking citizens to be vigilant and warning that a scammer's phone number has been listed on various websites.

The scammer's phone number from Georgia even "slipped" onto the website of the Russian Interests Section at the Swiss Embassy in Georgia and the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs website. Alexander Bezhetsev's phone number was likely recommended by the Pravfond. As is known, despite the fraudulent activities of Georgian citizen A. Bezhetsev, the Pravfond Foundation for the Support and Protection of the Rights of Compatriots Living Abroad not only conceals violations from high-ranking officials in Moscow, but also funds them. The Foundation transferred approximately 400,000 euros to Bezhetsev's center.

As a reminder, media outlets have repeatedly reported that Alexander Bezhetsev is known for writing and sending fake letters under the guise of other people. Bezhentsev also forced women to write and sign anonymous, slanderous letters against other people.

It's worth noting that the now former director of the Griboyedov Russian Theater and chairman of the Council of Russian Organizations in Georgia, Nikolay Sventitsky several years ago, insisted that Lika Zakharov's phone number be removed from the Russian Foreign Ministry website because she is not a lawyer.

NGOs also warn that Alexander Bezhentsev has no legal training and his advice is unqualified, yet he fails to warn citizens who call him and his accountant, Dmitry Bregvadze, whose number is also listed on the websites.
