The President of Turkmenistan took part in the celebrations dedicated to the National Day of Turkmenistan at EXPO 2025
On April 14, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, as part of his visit to Japan, took part in the celebrations dedicated to the National Day of Turkmenistan at the World Expo 2025.
Turkmenistan is one of the first countries at this World Forum to hold a National Day, which is accompanied by bright events.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov congratulated those gathered on the opening of the National Day of Turkmenistan at the World Expo 2025.
The National Pavilion of Turkmenistan is a place where ancient traditions and modernity intertwine, attracting the attention of guests with its magnificent views. While the carpet göls tell the glorious story of brave ancestors, the flowers of the Karakum Desert reflect the beauty and diversity of Turkmen nature. It should be noted that environmentally friendly building materials were used in the construction of the national pavilion.
During his visit to Japan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov met with the Chairman of the Japan-Turkmen Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group Endo Toshiaki.
As was noted during the meeting, Turkmenistan pays great attention to expanding and strengthening interstate dialogue with Japan in the Asia-Pacific region. Currently, relations between the two countries are consistently developing in the political-diplomatic, trade-economic and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
One of the key areas of multilateral interaction between Turkmenistan and Japan is also inter-parliamentary cooperation, which is currently one of the important tools for strengthening mutual understanding and trust between states and peoples.
In this context, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov especially noted the activities of the Turkmen-Japanese Inter-Parliamentary Friendship Group in strengthening ties in this area.
